On May 21, the 2024 Selection Party for the Ladner May Days Royal Court occurred and was a huge success! With pizza, a photo booth, and a build-your-own sundae bar, these kids and their families had a blast. Here are the results from the selection party:
Monarch: Lia Valencia Chavez from Holly Elementary
1st Royal: Louie Bender from English Bluff Elementary
2nd Royal: Devina Bhandal from McCloskey Elementary
Annually, we invite every elementary school in Delta to select a sixth-grade child to
partake in the festivities. These students volunteer and are chosen at random. We ensure that all representatives are involved in the selection process, where the Royal Monarch and court members are decided.
